Universal Studios Singapore will open its doors to the public on 18 March 2010 at 8:28 am.
The ticket price is set at $66 for weekdays and weekend will be $72, if you think it's expensive, it is actually the cheapest among all Universal Studios and Disneylands in around the world. As Singaporeans, I urge everyone to buy the annual pass and make multiple visits there so that you can enjoy the all the attractions to the fullest and go whenever you want. If you are to use 1 day pass you will be very rush to try out the rides and won't have time to enjoy the architecture of the whole Universal Studio. In order to try all of rides and enjoy the theme and the whole atmosphere, it is best to go there a few times. With the annual pass, although it will be a little costly, you will be able to get the most out of the fantastic world class theme park!

HOLLYWOOD
Step into Hollywood Boulevard framed by dynamic architecture, palm trees and the famous Walk of Fame, you will feel as if you have landed in the center of the entertainment universe, It also has the Pantages Hollywood Theatre premiering only in singapore which has 1500 seats in there, and we can watch musical show in there and has all those Hollywood character like Wolfman, Frankenstein, Dracula and etc, and with the Rock n Roll Style.
NEW YORK
Feel the spirit and energy of America’s biggest and grandest city as you stroll along the sidewalks and enjoy all the classic landmarks. Soak in the impressive city skylines, neon lights, and facades that set the scenes for big city fun and real-time movie production. Stage 28, unravel the secrets of film production at the fully-outfitted sound stage showcasing some of Universal’s feature films and props. Get behind the scenes and see real film production right before your very eyes! This is my favourite theme out of the 7 theme.
Sci-Fi City
he city of the future has arrived. Through the impressive portals of Sci-Fi City you will experience the ultimate inter-galactic battle of good vs. evil and visit a vibrant metropolis with all the ultimate modern conveniences. Battlestar Galactica Human and Cylon is a roller coaster themed after the hit television show Battlestar Galactica, the world’s tallest pair of duelling roller-coasters will propel thrill-seekers on several inversions, a zero-g roll, a Cobra roll, corkscrews, vertical loops and near collisions mere inches apart.

Ancient Egypt
Ancient pyramids and obelisks stand fast against the sands of time as you are transported to 1930’s Egypt, the Golden Age of Egyptian Exploration. Travel to an era when entire Pharaohs tombs were discovered- and their terrible curses unleashed. A place is feature for the movie Revenge of the Mummy, A high-speed psychological thrill ride through sharp turns, full rotation and fast reverse, you’ll be fighting against fiery fireballs, flesh-eating scarab beetles and an army of merciless warrior mummies — all in total darkness. By the way the theme of ancient egypt is really very eerie pnce you step inside.
The Lost World
The Lost World has 2 themes inside, Jurassic Park and Waterworld featuring from the 2 movie blockbuster. As they can experience a dense tropical forest where dinosaurs lurk, then watch death defying stunts filled with thrills and spills! At the Jurassic Park featuring a white water raft system, thrill-seekers on circular rafts will be tossed on waterways within the Jurassic compound, where prehistoric creatures roam free and Tucked safely under the wings of a flying Pteranodon, guests soar over the lush foliage of Jurassic Park and get a bird’s eye view of the prehistoric compound, as the coaster gently glides over the tree-tops. Children can pilot prehistoric dragonflies, soaring up into the sky or plunging down into the shadows.
Amber Rock Climb - Scale the walls of The Lost World™ to explore precious stones and fossilised insects. A treasure awaits those agile enough to climb their way to the top.
The Lost World - Waterworld

Far Far Away
In here they have build a big castle that looks so real, and is the only castle in Universal Studios Singapore. Movie stars, talking donkeys, the land of Far Far Away showcases lifestyles of the rich and fairy taled. See how successful fantasy characters live within tall, graceful walls sweeping over a pavilion-covered courtyard. The 4D Shrek adventure, Help save Princess Fiona in a totally in-your-face fairy tale adventure. Through the miracle of OgreVision you’ll see, hear, and actually FEEL the action right from your seat!
Madagascar
Based on the hit DreamWorks Animation film, Madagascar, this zone brings you to a dense tropical jungle, filled with strange and wonderful animals like lemurs and foosas. Bird calls and monkey screeches fill the air as you journey deeper into the equatorial rain forests of this African Island. The Crate Adventure, you will join the four heroes Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria on a river boat adventure complete with state-of-the-art animated figures, digital projection, evocative sound, and moving show-action effects that create a one-of-a-kind, immersive ride experience.

I've been Universal Studios Orlando, USA. I never thought I'd be able to step into another Universal Studios! Now that it's gonna be much closer, I'd HAVE go down south to visit this place!
